Mode of Action
- Weakens acneic C.acnes strains (↓membrane fluidity, ↓biofilm) to favor growth of non-acneic strains
- Reduces bacterial aggression (↓TLR-2) and decreases levels of inflammatory mediators (↓ IL-8 & IL-1α)
- Prevents hyperkeratinization
