In our sustainability journey for a world of plenty, we take another fundamental step with IBR. As a UEBT member, IBR commits to sourcing our ingredients with respect for all people and biodiversity.

As part of our journey to ensure that our products are made with ingredients sourced ethically and in a socially responsible way, we are proud to announce our 2 new major commitments for a more sustainable future coming from our IBR division.

We embed our commitment to circular design across our business. At each step in our design process, we seek to ensure that ingredients come from nature and go back into nature, in a continuous cycle.

See how David Smith, General Manager of Southern Cross Botanicals, was proud to participate in an interactive online panel discussion on how to make sure corporate actions truly are working to ‘bend the curve’ of nature loss by slowing down or halting biodiversity loss and then restoring nature through smart nature-based solutions in the lead-up to COP15

To support the industry in its transformation towards sustainable supply chains and identifying its impacts on biodiversity, the FEBEA (Fédération des Entreprises de la Beauté) pooled existing initiatives to inspire and deploy good practices. In line with the purpose of the cosmetics sector (published by FEBEA in 2021): "Take care of you, respect the beauty of the world", this guidebook is the result of many discussions between FEBEA stakeholders, including IFF Lucas Meyer Cosmetics. You will find examples of how biodiversity is integrated in our privileged partnerships with our Australian suppliers (SCB range), in the beginning of our product design process, and in our environmental commitments.

Southern Cross Botanicals is a member of UEBT. We have adopted a plan to advance sourcing practices that:
- Promotes a world in which all people and biodiversity thrive
- Respects all people and biodiversity
- Promotes regeneration of nature and secure a better future for all people
