Borēaline® Aurora is unique ingredient inspired by the majestic White Pine, known to be symbol of peace and unity in constant search of light, combined with the Aurora Borealis that illuminates the boreal sky with breathtaking colors and shapes. This innovative active ingredient that improves skin complexion and luminosity providing radiant and glowing skin.
Borēaline® Aurora simultaneously works on three parameters of skin complexion. It reduces skin pigmentation by inhibiting melanin synthesis with a direct and indirect (cell-to-cell communication) action on melanogenesis; it decreases the appearance of skin redness by reducing inflammation; and improves skin translucency and reduces yellowness by protecting skin proteins from carbonylation.
It showed great results after only 14 days on face and hand, Caucasian and Asian skins, making it a true ally for brands wanting to propose green, efficacious inclusive beauty products!
Borēaline® Aurora is a true sustainable extract that uses upcycled White Pine bark from the Canadian wood industry. Barks are by-products that are undervalued and considered waste. However, tree bark contains the highest concentration of bioactive molecules, as the tree naturally synthetizes these molecules as part of its own self defense mechanism. The bioactive molecules extraction comes just after the first transformation of the wood (lumber production) and before the barks are recycled into green energy or composting.
