The Canadian forest industry generates millions of tons of biomass by-products during its wood transformation process; most of which is bark, as it is usually undervalued and considered waste. However, the bark is the richest part of the tree! It contains the highest concentration of bioactive molecules naturally synthetized by the tree as part of its self-defense mechanism.
Borēaline® Aurora uses a unique eco-valorization concept of the Canadian forest biomass by systematically extracting the bioactive molecules of tree bark, before recycling them into green energy or composting. Unlike in other parts of the world, the trees in the Canadian forest don’t fall under agriculture; they are left alone, without any human intervention or use of chemicals, so that they can fully develop themselves naturally.
