Pequi (Caryocar brasiliense) is one of the most iconic trees of the Cerrado, Brazil's vast tropical savanna and one of the world's most biodiverse and threatened biomes.
Beraca™ Pequi Oil is sourced in partnership with a cooperative founded in 2003, uniting family farmers and extractivists across 300 communities in 30 municipalities in northern Minas Gerais. Together, over 1,200 families work to harvest, process, and add value to this exceptional fruit, ensuring that every drop of oil reflects the richness of the Cerrado and the dedication of the communities who have sustainably managed it for generations.
